Hanging instructions rainbow foil
Special materials also require special handling. Please note the following instructions for our high-quality rainbow foil coated material.
Please use only rolls of the same batch and check the wallpaper for any defects before hanging. Roll out the wallpaper before processing on a smooth and clean surface. Cut the wallpaper panels. Check this high class wallpaper very accurate to prevent complaints. Claims after hanging will not be accepted.
Attention! Please do not use water on the back of the wallpaper, as this can cause the top layer to separate from the ground material.
Make sure the wall is dry, smooth, clean, free of dust and neutrally coloured. Remove all spots and even out any colour differences. Any holes or cracks must be filled and sanded smooth. Attention! The effect of rainbow foil will make any irregularities extra visible.
Use a methylcellulose-based wallpaper paste that is suited for 'heavy & special' wallpaper. Prepare the paste with 25% less water than indicated on the packaging. Apply the paste on the panels and let them soak for 10 minutes.
Attention! Do not fold the wallpaper after pasting, but only gently roll. This way, the paste does not dry and the wallpaper will not get damaged.
After a soaking time of 10 minutes, we recommend that you carefully apply the wallpaper to the wall.
Place the wallpaper seam to seam on the wall, preferably without moving much, otherwise the memory effect may cause visible seams. Do not fold the wallpaper.
Attention! Do not apply the wallpaper over corners!
Remove any excess paste with a damp sponge immediately. Otherwise it is possible that you can see leavings of the glue after it dried.
Advice: The above mentioned indications are meant as general recommendations. No liability is assumed for conditions outside our influences such as working conditions, condition and character of the surface.
