Monique lives with her two daughters in a newly built house in Amsterdam's Houthavens. After moving from Hoorn to Amsterdam in 2018, they soon faced leakage problems throughout the block. Thankfully, this has now been fixed, and they can finally focus on decorating their home. Monique and her girls are looking forward to making it a cosy women's home.

The house has two living spaces: a living room on the ground floor and a soutarrain below. Monique likes a soft, light and white colour palette, while her daughters find this too dull and prefer a loft-like look or a cosy café atmosphere.

Frans knows exactly what to do and transforms the rooms into a bright living room for Monique and an atmospheric souterrain for the girls. In the living room, he chooses a horizontal strip of wallpaper for a unique touch, this wallpaper is from our Solange collection (article number 340260). Near the dining table, he places a sofa with whose cushions are made of our Triangolo fabric. This light and chic fabric is suitable as upholstery fabric, so it is perfect for the sofa. In the souterrain, Frans creates a great chill space for the girls. For the mattresses and cushions, he uses several fabrics from our range that are also suitable as furniture fabrics. For instance, the mattresses are covered in Atacama fabric and cushions are made of Merapi, Nicosia Extra and Zebra fabric. Frans really succeeded in making the girls' living wishes come true!
