Remon and Lesley have their roots in Almere. Since this year, they have lived with their sons in a semi-detached house. Previously, they lived in a house they designed themselves. Since childhood, Remon has had a passion for architecture and house building, and it was always his dream to create his own home. Nevertheless, they decided to sell their previously designed house and make the switch to this new home, which appealed to them because of its unique layout and waterfront location.
The family was looking forward to moving into their new home, but soon they ran into all kinds of problems. Leaks, cracks in the walls, and there had been no maintenance for 30 years. They decided to demolish the kitchen and a wall to create more open space. The couple's tastes are pretty far apart. He likes dark, chic and vintage. She prefers interiors with light and softness.
During the makeover, Fietje uses a retro-style wallpaper from our new Groovy collection. She uses this wallpaper in the hallway and living room, so that the interior becomes one. This way, she creates the light atmosphere Lesley was looking for, but with a vintage touch that makes Remon very happy. How do you think she did it?
